We spent one night at Freddie's, in the beautiful and wild garden made by Richard. Very welcoming family and lovely place, near the Wild Atlantic Way and a few minutes from Galway. We enjoyed the talking, the advice we had about the sites to visit as well as the nice coffee we were pleased to share in the living-room. Great experience !
Bert and I plus our dog Branko had an excellent time staying with Helga and Richard in their magnificent garden. The location is close to the city of Galway and the beach with a nice pub! The garden in July was very colourful with lots of wild flowers and a great place to sit still and listen to the bees humming the stream that flows and the birds. We put up our tent next to the large polytunnel and were allowed to enjoy the yummy tomatoes that grew there, as well as the couch that made an excellent spot for reading our books whenever a bit of drizzle fell from the sky, which thankfully wasn't that often. Helga and Richard are good company, they invited us for a stroll along the beach and told us many good stories as well as gave us good tips for trips to make. Helga even served us a mean curry one night when we came back quite late from a trip to Connamara. We had a great time and we recommend this gamping to anyone who also wants a enjoyable stay with lovely hosts. Thanks again guys! We hope to see you in our garden some time! Petra, Bert and Branko.
